I didn’t expect this to be the book I read this semester that would generate so much thinking about my research project but it was. Johnson notes that this took over ten years to write and I admire her ability to create such a propulsive and engaging and challenging text over such a long period of time, never losing the sense of importance. I am going to a book talk for this on Thursday and I can’t wait to hear what she has to say!
